About this plant

This plant basket holds several indoor plants in one woven basket with a handle: tall leafy plants, a trailing vine and a flowering kalanchoe, with moss on top. Each plant sits in its own pot inside the basket, so you can lift any of them out and replant it later.

Send it for a housewarming or a new office. It also works as a sympathy gift that the family keeps at home after the service.

Long dark leaves rise at the back, cream-splashed leaves fill the middle, and the vine trails over the rim. The kalanchoe adds the only flowers; their color changes from basket to basket, so yours may be red, pink, orange or yellow. In the photos the basket has a peace lily, a dieffenbachia, a pothos and a red kalanchoe. Every plant keeps growing, and you can cut a piece of the vine and root it in a glass of water.

Keep the basket in bright, indirect light and water each pot when the top of its soil feels dry. Pour slowly, a little at a time, because the basket itself has no liner. Some of these plants are toxic to cats and dogs if chewed.

For one flowering plant, see a kalanchoe potted on its own; for something small for a desk, see a bowl of succulents. There is one basket size.

Will it look exactly like the photo?

Very close. Every bouquet is arranged by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Flowers are seasonal and availability can vary. If a flower isn’t available, we replace it with one of equal or greater value, keeping the color palette, style and beauty of the arrangement. Want to see it before it goes out? What if the recipient isn’t home?

We always try to hand the bouquet over in person. If there’s a safe spot (by the door, or with a concierge), we leave the bouquet there and take a photo. If there’s nowhere safe to leave it, we call the recipient using the number in your delivery instructions, and if they don’t answer, we contact you.

If we can’t reach either of you, we bring the bouquet back to the shop and hold it until the end of pickup hours the next day: pick it up at 6201 Hollywood Blvd or book a redelivery. Need it handed over in person? Say so in the delivery instructions and include the recipient’s phone number.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Flowers and delivery date can be changed until 6 AM on the delivery day, when we buy the flowers for your order. The address and card message can be changed until the order is handed to our driver, usually after 12 PM. We email you when that happens.

Cancel before 6 AM on the delivery day for a full refund. After that the flowers have already been bought, so the order can’t be canceled. For Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and other peak days, changes to the flowers or the date and cancellations close at 6 AM three days before delivery. To make a change, call or text (323) 493-1514.
