About this bouquet

This succulent bouquet pairs three green succulent rosettes with peach roses, cream spray roses, pink stock and round yellow craspedia. It comes wrapped in paper with a ribbon and arrives in a vase.

It suits someone who keeps plants on every windowsill, as a birthday or housewarming gift, because the succulents make it look a little different from a usual rose bouquet.

The succulents give the bouquet its shape. About three firm rosettes, each set on a wooden pick, sit in the middle and the soft roses gather around them. Craspedia, sometimes called billy balls, puts bright yellow dots into a peach and pink mix, and the pink stock brings a sweet clove scent. Round-leaf eucalyptus at the edges picks up the cool green of the succulents.

The succulents and craspedia hold up longer than the roses, so the bouquet keeps its texture after the softest flowers fade. The craspedia also dries well and holds its yellow if you want to keep a few stems.

Will it look exactly like the photo?

Very close. Every bouquet is arranged by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Flowers are seasonal and availability can vary. If a flower isn’t available, we replace it with one of equal or greater value, keeping the color palette, style and beauty of the arrangement. Want to see it before it goes out? What if the recipient isn’t home?

We always try to hand the bouquet over in person. If there’s a safe spot (by the door, or with a concierge), we leave the bouquet there and take a photo. If there’s nowhere safe to leave it, we call the recipient using the number in your delivery instructions, and if they don’t answer, we contact you.

If we can’t reach either of you, we bring the bouquet back to the shop and hold it until the end of pickup hours the next day: pick it up at 6201 Hollywood Blvd or book a redelivery. Need it handed over in person? Say so in the delivery instructions and include the recipient’s phone number.

How do I care for it?

Some flowers last longer than others. Flowers don’t like heat, direct sun or sudden temperature changes, and each order comes with a packet of flower food.

Bouquets in a vase: mix the flower food into the water, trim ½ inch off the stems at an angle, change the water every 2 days, and keep them away from direct sun, heaters, AC vents and fruit.

Flowers in a box: add a little water to the foam every day so it never dries out, and keep the box in a cool spot out of direct sun.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Flowers and delivery date can be changed until 6 AM on the delivery day, when we buy the flowers for your order. The address and card message can be changed until the order is handed to our driver, usually after 12 PM. We email you when that happens.

Cancel before 6 AM on the delivery day for a full refund. After that the flowers have already been bought, so the order can’t be canceled. For Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and other peak days, changes to the flowers or the date and cancellations close at 6 AM three days before delivery. To make a change, call or text (323) 493-1514.
