About this gift

Fresh rose petals, pulled from large roses on the day of your order and sent loose, ready to scatter. You choose the color, red, pink or white, and how many roses the petals come from: 25, 50 or 100.

Use them to mark a path for a proposal, shape a heart on a bed, run a line down the middle of a dinner table or float them in a bath on an anniversary night.

A large rose gives roughly 25 to 35 good petals once the bruised outer ones come off, so 25 roses come to about 700 petals, 50 roses to about 1,500 and 100 roses to about 3,000. Seven hundred petals cover a heart on a bed or a light scatter on a long table; for a path across a room or a thick carpet, choose 50 or 100. The petals from 25 roses come in a paper bag, and larger orders come in a box.

Loose petals have no stem to drink through, so they brown at the edges much sooner than a bouquet. Keep them in the fridge until you need them and scatter them shortly before the moment. They come from florist roses, so use them for decoration and not on cakes or in drinks.

Will it look exactly like the photo?

Very close. Every bouquet is arranged by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Flowers are seasonal and availability can vary. If a flower isn’t available, we replace it with one of equal or greater value, keeping the color palette, style and beauty of the arrangement. Want to see it before it goes out? Check “Send me a photo of the bouquet before delivery” in your bag.

What if the recipient isn’t home?

We always try to hand the bouquet over in person. If there’s a safe spot (by the door, or with a concierge), we leave the bouquet there and take a photo. If there’s nowhere safe to leave it, we call the recipient using the number in your delivery instructions, and if they don’t answer, we contact you.

If we can’t reach either of you, we bring the bouquet back to the shop and hold it until the end of pickup hours the next day: pick it up at 6201 Hollywood Blvd or book a redelivery. Need it handed over in person? Say so in the delivery instructions and include the recipient’s phone number.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Flowers and delivery date can be changed until 6 AM on the delivery day, when we buy the flowers for your order. The address and card message can be changed until the order is handed to our driver, usually after 12 PM. We email you when that happens.

Cancel before 6 AM on the delivery day for a full refund. After that the flowers have already been bought, so the order can’t be canceled. For Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and other peak days, changes to the flowers or the date and cancellations close at 6 AM three days before delivery. To make a change, call or text (323) 493-1514.
